I did my student teaching at Dexter high School in Dexter Michigan and a year later began my career as a teacher. I taught middle school English and PE at Monroe Catholic Elementary for three years, taught Pre-K- 6th grade at Airport Community Schools for two years, and then moved to Jacksonville with my wife and taught at Jacksonville Commons Elementary for two years.

I have coached football and track but most of my experience has been in volleyball. I started coaching in college and have coached volleyball for 11 years.

I am extremely excited to be a Pirate and looking forward to this up coming school year.

My wife, daughter and I moved to Swansboro last year and love living in a community that isn’t afraid to wave at a stranger! We enjoy the beach, bike riding, and ice cream!

Outside of school I enjoy fishing, carpentry, and just being outdoors. I am looking forward to my new students and if there are every any concerns or questions feel free to email.
